Description
Hot Peel:
-
Immediate Removal:
Open the heat press and, while the fabric is still warm, gently peel off the DTF transfer film, starting from a corner with the most ink coverage and working in a smooth motion.
-
Rapid Motion:
Peel quickly and in one continuous motion, as if removing a band-aid, to avoid adhesive transfer to the garment.
4. Optional Final Press:
- Curing: You can optionally apply a final press with a cover sheet to further cure the print, typically at the same temperature for 5-10 seconds.
Key Considerations:
-
Friction:
After the initial press, you can rub the transfer with another t-shirt to help adhere it to the garment.
-
Patience:
If you’re unsure if your film is hot or cold peel, err on the side of caution and treat it as a cold peel, which involves waiting for the transfer to cool before peeling.
-
Practice:Experiment with different temperatures, times, and pressures to find the best settings for your specific DTF transfers and fabric.
